Anna Lipkin
Ms. Lipkin is a third-year graduate student in the neuroscience program at UCSF, where she studies how consuming alcohol in adolescence affects brain function. She has been a member of Carry the One Radio since she arrived at UCSF, and she also is a producer for The Fog at Bay, a podcast about mental health and identity in academia and medicine. She has written for Synapse, the UCSF student newspaper, as well as for the UCSF News Service. Ms. Lipkin is especially interested in telling stories that highlight the historical and social aspects of science. earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and dance at Duke University and performs with local dance companies.
