Cynthia Watchmaker

MBA, MEd

Cynthia Watchmaker, MBA, MEd, directs the School of Pharmacy’s Office of Student and Curricular Affairs, which provides centralized administrative and student services to the PharmD degree program, and to prospective and current students. Her portfolio includes student recruitment and admissions services, academic and career advising services, and leadership and coordination of activities in support of student professional and personal development outside the classroom. Watchmaker oversees student academic progression and co-directs a thread in the new PharmD curriculum focused on student success, professionalism, and well-being. She also works with a group of internal and external stakeholders that advises the School on the new curriculum as it evolves. Because of her comprehensive knowledge of the School’s PharmD program, Watchmaker serves as an expert resource for students, faculty members, alumni, and employers about the program and its students. She earned an MBA in finance from California State University, Hayward, and an MEd in higher education and student affairs administration from the University of Vermont.
