Jane Weintraub

Widely known for her expertise in oral epidemiology, dental public health, and clinical research, Dr. Weintraub is a leader in research to understand and prevent oral health disparities. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health and past president of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. From 2001 to -2011, she was the founding director and principal investigator of the National Institutes of Health-funded Center to Address Disparities in Children’s Oral Health at the UCSF School of Dentistry. Dr. Weintraub earned her dental degree from Stony Brook University and her Master of Public Health degree and public health training from Harvard University.
