Dr. Damania is a hospitalist and founder of Turntable Health, an innovative primary care clinic that focused on prevention and collaboration as a model for "Health 3.0." During his decade-long career as a hospitalist at Stanford University, he led a shadow life performing stand-up comedy for medical audiences worldwide as a way to address his own burnout. From this was born the social media platform “ZDoggMD,” reaching millions through Incident Report, a popular medical show and podcast highlighting bright spots in health care transformation, and Doc Vader (the #DarkSide of medicine).
